Full-Service Injection Moulding: One Partner From Design to Despatch

full-service injection moulding

Not every moulder works the same way. Some take a finished tool and run parts. We do the whole job, from the first design conversation to a packed product on its way to you. That is what full-service contract manufacturing means, and for a lot of buyers it is the difference between managing a chain of suppliers and briefing one partner. Here is what it covers, and why it takes the risk out of a project.

Design and tooling, before a tool is cut

The best time to catch a problem is before the tool exists. Our in-house engineering and design team works on the part with you, using design-for-manufacture and mould-flow thinking to make sure it can be made well and consistently. We design and manufacture tooling in-house too, which keeps control of quality and timing in one place rather than spread across outside suppliers.

Precision moulding across the range

With nearly 60 years of technical moulding behind us, we run precision work from 30 tonnes up to 300 tonnes, for high and low volume alike. Material selection and advice are built in, so the part is made in the right polymer for the job rather than whatever is easiest to run.

The added-value work that finishes the job

A moulded part is rarely the end of it. Our value-added operations take the component through to a finished item: ultrasonic and linear vibration welding, pressure testing, multicolour printing, assembly, packaging and direct-to-consumer despatch. Because it happens under one roof, there is no shipping half-finished parts between suppliers and no gaps where quality or time can slip.

Quality built into the part

We take a Right First Time approach, which means quality is designed and measured into the part rather than inspected in at the end. Measurement, inspection and capability verification run throughout, backed by IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. For regulated sectors, that record matters as much as the part itself.

One point of accountability

Full service also changes who you deal with. You get a dedicated project manager and a named contact, honest and clear communication, and one team answerable for the whole build, from supply chain through to UK delivery. You brief once, and you collect a finished, packed product. When something needs a decision, you are not chasing three suppliers to find out where it sits.

Sectors as proof

The industries we serve are the proof the service works, from automotive to medical to industrial. Our industrial water pump case study is one example of a part taken from design through to a finished, tested component.

Brief one partner

If you would rather brief one partner than manage a chain of them, that is exactly how we work. Take a look at our full-service capabilities, or ask for a quote and tell us about your part.
